Class 10
Welcome to Class 10 - Year 5 and Year 6
Our class is made up of 30 enthusiastic, creative and considerate Year 5 and 6 children. We work together to create a welcome and warm class atmosphere, where every class member feels valued and loved. The Class Teacher is Miss Beresford. Throughout the week, other adults who work in our class are; Mrs Simpson and Mrs Hardy. While we are working in bubbles Mrs Hardy is Class 10’s Lunchtime Supervisor.
Homework

Reading sits at the heart of everything we do in Class 10. Please encourage your children to read as much as possible at home. Reading books are collected on a Friday and quarantined over the weekend, before being changed on a Monday. The children also have access to Bug Club so they can read books online. Please encourage your children to read books that they enjoy too. They are welcome to bring a book in from home to read in school during our D.E.A.R (Drop everything and read) sessions each day.
As well as regular reading, the children are given English and Mathematics homework each week. The homework is uploaded to Google Classroom on a Friday and due in by the following Wednesday. If you do have any difficulty accessing Google Classroom, please contact the School Office.
The children can also access Times Tables Rock Stars in order to practise their times tables.
PE
Our PE days are Wednesday and Friday. The children are required to come to school in suitable outdoor PE kit on these days.
