Today class 3 and 4 went on a flight to Australia. We had to pack our suitcases and make our own passports. The hall was set up as a jumbo jet. We had to go through baggage checks and passport control before we could board the plane at Ilchester International Airport. We took our seats on the plane and went through a safety brief before take off (Mrs Horne had a childhood dream come true – being an air stewardess for the morning). We saw countries on our way to our stopover in a Singapore. Our air stewards also served drinks and biscuits. We then flew over Australia and saw Uluru, the outback, blue mountains, Borossa valley and as we approached Sydney we saw the opera house. We can’t wait to explore this country this term.
