MOON LIKE ROCK FOUND

Yesterday morning at Yeovilton air base a strange meteorite-like rock was found on the runway. One of the guards was making a regular daily check when he found the piece of unusual-looking rock surrounded by scorch marks. The rock was light grey in colour, 11cm in diameter and was covered in small holes, just like a sponge.

Commander Per Formance, Head of Extra-Orbital Research at the base, suggested the rock could be a meteorite knocked out of its orbit around the Earth. Could the man on the moon be throwing stones at us I wonder?
