Cricket tournament


Yesterday after school, eight pupils from Years 5 and 6 represented the school at the Yeovil schools Kwik Cricket competition. The boys competed in three tough matches against East Coker, Birchfield and Ash and despite coming second best each time they played with great spirit and determination, belying their lack of experience.

Cycle cross competition at Huish


Earlier in the week, children from classes 8 and 9 represented the school at a cyclo cross competition at Huish School. They all did very well and Ilchester finished a creditable 7th out of 12 schools.

This week Noah and Ashley are our superstars for working so hard on their Maths and poetry respectively. We also welcomed two new members, Karen and Chloe, to our class and they have both settled in really well during their first week at Ilchester.
