Christmas Tree Festival


You will be able to visit  the infants Christmas tree in St Mary’s church from Sunday. All classes have made decorations to go on the tree with the theme of Silent Night.

Santa’s helpers visited us!


Today was a very exciting day for us all! Santa’s helpers visited the school in a helicopter and collected all of our wonderful letters in preparation for Christmas 🙂

Superhero Smiles


This afternoon we have been learning how to brush our teeth properly.  The children have been having a go at brushing a giant set of teeth with a giant toothbrush, they will be coming home with some toothpaste and a new toothbrush.

Reception Exhibition.


It was lovely to see both grown ups and children enjoying the children’s hard work this term in our exhibition. They have worked very hard to create their clay faces and descriptions.

Poppy planting


Today the children went to join the preschoolers to plant poppy seeds.

The Learning Shed


This week we have opened the Learning shed, this area provides a dry and exciting place for children to read, create puppet shows and use a table whilst still being outside.

Remember, remember the 5th of November.


Today the children learnt about how to be safe using sparklers. We talked about using sparklers with an adults, wearing gloves, keeping our sparkler away from other people and putting it in a bucket of water when they are finished.

Mini Me!


We have been working hard on painting our sculptures ready for the exhibition. Please bring in old clothes to dress them in, if you have some spare.

Our Mini-Me Workshop


The children were delighted to have their parents in for a ‘making’ workshop today. Once all of their designs have dried they will be painted in class and their very own Madame Tussaud’s exhibition will be created!
